Peter Wheatley

Peter has drawn and painted from an early age, self taught but always ready to take advice and guidance from more experienced artists.

The son of an RAF man, Peter lived on or near numerous RAF stations for 20 years hence his love of aviation.

Aircraft paintings being one of his favourite subjects, any aircraft, old or new, military or civil.

Other subjects include portraits of jazz performers, Armstrong to Brubeck and any one in between. Also landscapes, animals, and architectural subjects, the latter probably due to a working life in the construction industry.

Most work is in watercolour, pastel, pencil and pen and ink.
