Kirsty Walker

Kirsty Walker

In 1998 Kirsty completed her degree in fine art and since then she has taken on numerous commissions ranging from Hollywood film stars to WWII bombers!

She hung up her paintbrush for a while to spend time bringing up her daughter but is now back to her artwork.

She particularly enjoys painting people whom she admires from the music world, including those from the sixties west coast scene whose music she collects extensively.

Kirsty usually works in acrylic on canvas but also enjoys working in pencil and charcoal.

In her spare time she can be found singing with a psyche/blues band pretending to be Janis Joplin! (I wish says Kirsty!).
