Ernie Watson 1921 - 2008

Sadly, Ernie passed away in September 2008. I've left the text below as a tribute to a man who was full of fun right to the end.

Ernie Watson is a real character who has lived life to the full and this is reflected in his art work. At 84 years of age Ernie still enjoys working in pastels and pencils.

Ernie has served in both the Royal Navy and Merchant Navy and his love of ships has helped him to be an accomplished nautical artist. Unfortunately his work is so good he no longer has any examples as they sell as quickly as he can draw them!

Ernie has many original pieces of artwork for sale on this site depicting the female form in both naked and semi naked poses - all tastefully done. His work showing ballet dancers is amazing and he has attracted interest from far and wide.
