Neil Wooding

Artist, Neil Wooding has lived in the North East of England since 1968, after serving 16 years in the Royal Air Force. Neil has drawn and painted almost all of his life and in June 2001 he completed a 2-year BA
Foundation Course, in Art and Design.

Neil prefers to work mostly in acrylic and was a full member of NAPA (National Acrylic Painters’ Association) for several years. He is also a member (friend) of the Guild of Aviation Artists. Since retiring a few years ago he has joined a local Art Club and has added watercolour and pastel to his range of media.

Neil particularly enjoys painting aircraft and researches battle scenes and locations very carefully. Has aviation paintings have been used to illustrate books, RAF charity Christmas cards and many are to be seen hanging in military bases all over Europe.
